Contemplation.

Contemplation.

Statues. It is museum day. The Met is a great place to spend a day. Capture different emotions.

April 12, 2019

The light in the Met is always perfect. A contemplative form with closed eyes. The shadows accentuate the expression. Just to break the continuity a painting in the background. “The Virgin Annunciate” by Jean de Charters at the Met.

Regret.

Regret.

The expression on this face… frown and averted gaze. Reminds me of someone recalling the mistakes of the past. Or a tragedy? This was shot from the side. Too occupied getting the right angel. The details of this art piece go unnoticed.

Adventure.

Adventure.

Adrenaline rush. Tension. The movement. It invites the viewer to join the adventure. The man’s silhouette in the background. Struggling to keep up. The horse is too fast. They go on. Forever. “The Broncho Buster“ by Frederic Remington at the Met.

Love.

Love.

The embrace. Evoking a primal emotion of love and affection. An angel and a human. The scene evokes hope and sadness. Too tired to note details of the art.

Marred

Marred

The brokenness after a tragedy. When something goes wrong. The state of scattered pieces.

This is my favorite photograph. The open door and the solitude. The wait or the avoidance. The feeling of loneliness.

In NYC
It is evening. I am done working for the day. The light is perfect. I decide to grab my camera and go for a walk →
